  • Spent yesterday up & down a ladder painting the exterior of my house. Today the remnants of your storm roll through bringing lots of wind & a little rain. Too wet & windy for ladders & paint.

Just what vehicles of yours are more important than putting the dually Chevy Truck in the warm garage?!! :B

Maybe he didn't want to insult the poor girl by saying she was too wide across the back end to fit in the garage.

    That's a fair question.

All was well until our son returned home after a divorce and has been with us for the last 4 years now. He has a good job, but he has to leave the house about 6:30 am. So, we rotate vehicles in the garage, depending upon who leaves first in the morning. It's not an issue in the Summer, but

in winter, no one wants to clean off windshields with a foot of snow on them at 6:30 in the morning when it's 15 degrees outside.

You are a very kind and caring father you are! Your son is lucky to have you! :C
  • Yep, it was time for snow ice cream here in central IL also. 12 inches.

I ran thru a 1/2 tank of fuel in the JD clearing out myself and three neighbors.

Supposedly the one coming up tonight is gonna be a a doosey also.
  • We are expecting about 6 more inches of snow tomorrow at home in NJ, then warming up a bit above freezing Sunday morning with rain, then down to 3 degrees Sunday night. Gonna be Icy Monday morning. Currently 63 here in New Orleans, too bad I can’t stay 2 more days
