Jack n Kay - That's exactly why I started doing it! Everyone seemed to have some strongly held beliefs about exactly what happens when you dump, or why you need to do this or that. Every product, additive, or method has its supporters and detractors. But in the case of the black tank, they're pretty much talking about something that nobody ever gets to see. "How could they know for sure?" I wondered. So I built the tank, and the rest is video history.
I'm working on my next series of experiments on tank additives. Instead of doing one big video where I compare a bunch, I'm going to make shorter videos (5 min or so) where I just test one in each video. First test will be with nothing. Just plain water. After that, I can start on the GEO method, the blue fluids, enzymes, etc. and compare them to plain water.
The challenge I'm working on now is a new recipe for fake waste. For testing the additives, its important that the material behaves (as much as possible) like the real thing in terms of water retention, density, elasticity, cohesion, etc. I have a recipe from NASA, but some of the ingredients are a little hard to come by. I am working on it though. Wish me luck.
