It's that time again!

This is about when we start camping! It gets plenty cold here, but we really enjoy off season camping, no crowds.. nice cool weather.. We can generally camp into December..

Here, after Labor Day is the beginning of the season when it once again becomes cool enough to enjoy life out of doors.

We love to camp in Sepetmber,October and even Novemeber.

Hey for me it is when it just gets going. Kids back in school. People creatures of habit and the local camping demand goes down very fast after labor day. No reservations mid week for very desirable camping spots. Can't come fast enough!

Cant wait until after Labor Day...That is when my camping season starts. My 4th year doing it year round on Delmarva. I now have 5 options as close as 10 miles to 50 miles that stay open year round. No bugs, no crowds, when you truly enjoy a camp fire and I don't sit in the sun or swim, fishing gets better, and its Crock pot season. Going on year #3 stuffing a 6 lb. turkey breast in the oven for Thanksgiving. I NEVER get sick of doing this.

Ours has been in hibernation since last October. This has been a completely dry year. :(

But - retirement starts next March! Yippeee!

Wet side of Oregon, we camp year round. We are thinking of seeing about a month of hosting on the coast in January, see a couple storms.
Depending on temps we may winterize as many a four times a year, don't do it until know cold temps are on the way.

California: 365 days of camping. :B

I camp year round in Florida. Get to enjoy both seasons, we only have two.

now is the time I get her ready. our camping season here in FL runs Oct-Mar. too dang hot the rest of the year.
