Jeep GC diagnostic plug and AF one braking issue

Hard to say what I needed in subject line. Have had 2018 Grand Cherokee towed behind my Tiffin for over a year and about 18,000 miles. No problems with Blue Ox hardware and Air Force one braking. One ...

They just installed it in a bad place, most likely over top of the diagnostic connector in the JGC. That connector is under the dash to the left of the steering column.
