after just finishing our FL home state camping season with a 16 day trip to 4 state parks the dw and I noted 2 things 1. totally surprised at the number of very long trailers (like 30') being pulled...

All my external lights at night are LED's Solar powered
Two "light bulbs" (really solar lights) and 5 "Oriential Lanterns" also solar
And one solar "Flood light" aimed to flood the entrance of the motor home, and NOT bother the neighbors, it is supposed to be motion senistive as well (Shuts off).
none are bright enough to bother anyone.. Park "yard lights" are brighter.
Also, no wires running everywhere, no load on the batteries, Easy set up.
As for pulling a 35' Trailer with a 15' trailer capable tow vehicle.. Yes I see a lot of that too. Scary.. Comes from the salesman at the dealer.
Customer: "Gee, i don't know are you sure my truck can tow this?"
Salesman: "NO PROBLEM we just install this special super hitch".
(To a salesman there is one and only one problem.. A blank line where your signature goes).
