this is a worst disaster than the infamous Storm King Fire in Colorado in 1994, which was shocking at that time.
having fought wildland fires in California, i know how physical and scary a job, these people were faced with.
have done the shelter drills many times and we all know that you've got a 50/50 chance to survive getting run over by the fire.
the entire fire fighting community has been shaken to the core, by the shear number of fatalities of this unit.
