yes, all my brothers/sisters in the fire service, are deeply shocked.
this is a worst disaster than the infamous Storm King Fire in Colorado in 1994, which was shocking at that time.
having fought wildland fires in California, i know how physical and scary a job, these people were faced with.
have done the shelter drills many times and we all know that you've got a 50/50 chance to survive getting run over by the fire.
the entire fire fighting community has been shaken to the core, by the shear number of fatalities of this unit.
please pray for their families, loved ones, friends and co-workers.
