Just for fun - RV's in 30 years...

So, DW and I are about 25-30 years from buying our 'retirement rig.' Last night, that got me thinking.

When I think of what our TT has that was not part of trailers 30 years ago (multiple televisions, outside kitchen, power jacks, power awnings, microwaves, multiples slides, etc...) it made me wonder...What will become a regular part of RV's 25-30 years from now that we don't have today?

I like that idea! That could be a possibility right now.

I don't want that feature unless there is s "mute" button for the robot!
  • I figure you'll pull into your assigned CG site in your VW Beetle, get out with the remote in your hand, step back, push button #1 and watch it unfold into a fully functional 40ft. Prevost. Then push button #2 and watch it level itself, hook up to full utilities, unfurl the awning and set a lounge chair under it. Then button #3 opens up the 50" TV compartment and tunes it into the game, extends the beer cooler next to your chair and activates your personal robot that looks like a 21 year old Victoria's Secret model, to cook a gourmet meal for you and give you a neck massage to relieve the stress of driving.
Hey, you said just for fun, and that's my idea of fun!

Airstreams have not changed much in the last 75 years; probably won't change much in the next 30.

Lighter materials to construct a lighter, better insulated unit.
A light weight, lifetime roofing material.
Battery technology will come into play.

    That's my short list.
