1. They are delicious!
2. They make great boots and belts.
3. They help to eliminate dumb golfers.
4. They help to eliminate dumb "tough guys" who try to hunt them.
5. They help to eliminate Burmese pythons that idiots have let loose in the Florida everglades. (Although it has been documented that the pythons occasionally get the gator instead)
