I've been meaning to come here and ask about our dogs and their need to poop and pee when in the CG.
We camped in a park that had a dog exercise area. It was a small fenced area with waste bags. Not huge and on the far side of the CG from where our site was.
7 years on the road full time RV'ing with my dogs. I NEVER use the 'exercise' area. This area, unless it is clearly written in the CG rules as the 'only' place you can walk your dog, is for
"letting your dog run free in an enclosed area" and/or go to the bathroom off lead, hence forth the bags.
Albeit it is a given that picking up after you dog walking anywhere in a CG is MANDATORY.
So short answer is NO you don't have to use the 'exercise' area provided.
