That was a big draw for us to buy a TT. Kenneling the dogs every time we might want to take off can be difficult if they don't have a current kennel cough vaccine. Seems like they're only good for a few months. So if you want to take a last minute trip, there's no room at the inn for a dog without a kennel cough vaccine. Plus kenneling, no matter how nice the place, our dogs always come back hoarse from barking with the chorus for days and sometimes skinny from not eating.
The dogs are well behaved enough that having them with us, so far, has not been an inconvenience.
