YOu choose not to follow the rule because it is not convenient for you or you feel your dogs are special which is it.
This post is WRONG. You are not wrong. Unless an area is designated as "off limits" your dog can go. You should be responsible to pick it up.
That being said, I always pick up after my dog. And as a dog owner, I feel that all dog owners should have a responsibility to pick up any other dog waste they find. I always carry extra bags with me for that purpose. I know some people ignore their responsibility. So what. I am not so high and mighty that I can't pick up after any dogs. I would much rather pick it up with my bag than on my shoe. But I cannot understand people that walk by it and don't pick it up and do nothing but bittch about it. They are just as bad as the non responsible dog owner.
And I do the same for beer bottle caps, cigarette butts, trash in the fire ring, etc. Do I like it? No. But I like it a lot better than seeing all the litter in a spot where I am staying.
