I prefer to camp in parks with "no pet" rules as it simplifies my life and whatever pet owners who are inconsiderate are excluded.
I live across the street from a park in NYC. I see people walking dogs off leash(and arguing w/ others about the rights of their canine when caught); dogs drinking from people fountains despite having pet fountains at the base and dogs(and children...sigh) running across frozen ponds waiting for their rescue moment to be broadcast on the evening news. I turn my head in disgust when owners neglect to use their pooper scoopers.
Actually it's not the pets I dislike it's their silly humans.
