All those dead spots in RV sites and dog runs, are those the areas where dogs didn't pee? To deny that animal urine can kill grass is just being an ostrich and sticking your head in the sand. (and yes I know they really don't do that when they are trying to hide)
I am not trying to start a debate or argument here but some of the comments are really ridiculous. We travel with 2 shihtzu's. They are family to us and go most places we go. We pick up their poop as soon as they go, keep them on a leash when outdoors and we stop them immediately if they begin to bark. This is something all dog parents should do. They are well behaved because they have been trained to be so. What I find ridiculous is those complaining of dogs peeing in the grass. Really? I guess wild animals do not live near where you camp? Not sure where that may be but everywhere we go seems to have some sort of wildlife in the area that often come into the campsites at night (deer, bear, raccoons etc.). Not to mention the chipmunks or squirrels that play all day around us. Where do you think all the wildlife pee? I'd bet it is in the grass or on the ground wherever they are when the urge hits. You are camping amongst wildlife...enjoy it and quit worrying about a dog peeing in the grass. I have female dogs so they don't hike their leg on things...just squat. BTW, my dogs pee in the grass at home too...I have a beautiful yard and my grass is not dead where they go. I just get amazed sometimes at some of the comments.
Hmm...no wild animals where you camp? That is amazing! Also, we built our home 10 years ago. We have a very nice yard with 2 large outside dogs and then our 2 shihtzus who do there business outside. If your statement was true, our grass should be dead. It is very much alive and beautiful! We live in the country and deer come into our yard as well. We have goats...a time or two they have gotten into the yard and done there business there as well. Grass is green and lush! As far as you peeing on my steps...just remember, paybacks are hell! Never said I'd let my dog pee on anyone's steps, belongings etc. We are talking grass here and grass only. Pet parents just need to be responsible so no one is stepping in poo when they walk. That is all I am saying.
I've noticed a pattern with this guy, kcmoedoe. He thinks he knows it all and acts like a big man behind his keyboard. He's a typical internet troll.
Pay no attention to this idiot.
