That was one reason we bought our TT as well. When we began looking at the cost of hotel rooms, possibly having to soon get more than one room now that our boys are getting bigger, the cost of eating out and the ever increasing cost of kenneling our dogs, having a TT - even with the increase fuel costs - we would still come out ahead. Not all dogs do well being boarded. Our late boxer :( would be a disaster when we'd pick him up. No matter what place we took him, he was too nervous missing his people. I have gotten too many calls on the road telling me he hasn't eaten for 3 days. We now have our two girl dogs and I hope to get them well trained for our TT travels.
