I went camping last weekend, and can you believe it, some jerk decided to bring his dog....to a campground of all places. He even went as far to let his dog pee outside... outside in the grass like some kind of animal! The first thing I thought when I saw this, is that I can't wait to get on the Internet and complain about it.
Listen guys: if you're at a campground and worried about animal poop, you're in the wrong hobby. It's going to happen, you're outside...like outside in nature. Youre not at the Ritz. The neighbors lab isn't the only thing peeing out there.
Common sense, pick up your dog poo, try not to let the dog dump a chocolate biscuit where kids are playing. A dog peeing near a water faucet won't hurt you, it won't kill you, and if you don't see it happen, you'd never know. I don't let my dog pee on others belongings, on others campsites, or on water sources. Even if he did, you'll be fine. Trust me. It's dog pee, not anthrax. I grew up on a farm, if poo was that toxic, I'd have been dead by the late 1980s.
