Just to throw something out there... dog parks or dog yards or whatever else they are called aren't meant as dog bathrooms... they are activity yards. Its a place to let Fido run around off leash, safely play with other dogs, stretch their legs, get more exercise than a simple walk.
I have been to campgrounds that have a dog walking area. When we checked in, we were politely asked to walk our dogs in those areas rather than around the entire campground. I don't prefer this method, but I respect the request and do as I am asked. Its not a big deal.
My wife and I prefer to walk our dogs (3 small miniature pinchers) through the park and see the other campers and see how other people set up. We always carry bags and clean up after our dogs. I'm sure some anti-dog folks get upset, but I can't make everyone happy. When it comes to making my bride and my pets happy versus possibly upsetting some stranger whom I may never hear from nor see again, the wife and dogs come first. I am considerate though. I clean up after them. I try not to let them actually walk on your site at all. I don't let them bark.
