We have 2 dogs that almost always go with us (it's part of the draw of having a trailer, the pets can go with us). One time I had someone saying they wished that dogs were not allowed in the park and I politely reminded them that if I couldn't bring the dogs, then I wouldn't be there and I'm sure I'm not the only one so the campground would have a lot less campers and may not remain financially viable. When you look around at all the folks that have dogs, they bring a lot of money to the park. Yes, I know, not everyone likes dogs and many people camp without them and that's fine. I love my dogs and don't expect you to. I clean up after my dogs and make sure they don't bark all the time. And to me, what's the difference between dog pee and bird pee???? Can't control the birds or other wild animals. Honestly, I'd rather have dogs as neighbors than some of the humans that I've had as neighbors, the dogs would be better behaved. I have never had a dog pee on my truck or trailer but I did get into it one time with a drunk that decided he was too lazy (or stupid) to walk the 100' to the bathroom so he used the back of my trailer in the middle of the day for it. He came into the park on a boat, camp management was notified, and I never saw him again.
