Yep, doesn`t get much more hands on than that! 50k miles and no issues at all. much more scientific than "my brothers, friends, fathers, uncles, cousins, grandpa used one and he didn`t like it!" I love how those that don`t use it, think that those of us that do without issues are crazy!
If you want to run with 100+ year old technology go right ahead! that is the reason the manuf. use the paper filters, they are cheap and easy for the arm chair DIY`er to swap out!
