Oh my, K&N did not come out too good. :E
I think that is referencing the same test! Or at least one with the same resulting data!!!
I would still like to hear what people think they are gaining by using a K&N filter that is documented to let in more dust?
If one whats to flow more air and protect there engine, get a BHAF that I pictured and ran for several years.
BTW I still have a free one available for a 1998.5-2002 Dodge Cummins!!!!
Or a free BHAF for the same!!!!
And no the K&N filters on the boat are not available, as they work fine in that no/low dust environment on old mechanical injection engines!

I guess my point was this test was not written by some administrator on a Nissan sports car club as was stated above.
It was preformed under SAE J726/ISO 5011 air filter test standards with a very pricy air flow stand. This was an independent test study with no axe to grind.
I do not think some people are reading it! They have their minds made up that there are no issues, mean while real science proves there are issues. To each their own!
Sort of like someone that has never had a problem with brand X ST tires while a lot of others have had problems stating that the tires are just fine, go forth and use them.
