You open the fridge to puit stuff in an the warm air in the trailer is obviously going to affect the inside. If you put stuff in the fridge that is not already col, then they will hinder the temp as well, such as bottled water, sodas, uncooled beer, etc.
I think the thermometer thing is probably messing your mind as well. Unless you are noticing cooling issues with your items, I wouldn't worry about one. We've never used a thermometer inside the fridge or an additional fan in the fridge. Never needed to as of yet.
