I'd keep the RV if for no other reason than to have an evacuation vehicle and a place to live if your home is destroyed due to wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes, or tornados....all of which are possible where you are located. You don't say what kind of RV you have. If it's a motorhome, and you don't use it often, consider getting a travel trailer that can be towed with a vehicle you own. A motorhome sitting takes a lot more maintenance than one being used regularly.
