We live on 6 acres, and on a recreational lake to boot. At first, the new home in the resort area will seem like a vacation. After a while, the novelty will wear off and it will just become home. Later, you'll ask yourself why you took on all the extra work, and how long will this place have to be on the market before we find a buyer. :)
Been there (still there), doing that, got the T-shirt, and can't wait to downsize. And we are younger than you. We RV to get away from all this work. No, I'm not really kidding.
