We have an RV to travel with, we tolerate campgrounds. Rving is the only practical way to travel to the places we want to see.

RVing is not camping.
Camping is getting away from people and the conveniences of the city and your house... "roughing it" in a natural setting.
We live on 10 secluded acres, river frontage... the view from our living room is Mt. McKinley... but its not camping.
I went camping last weekend in Denali... with a tent, me and the dog, meals cooked on the fire. Got down to 20 degrees at night. Saw a bear and a few moose. That's camping.
Our 5th wheel is kept in the lower 48 and used as our "urban" get away home. We like change and having an easy option to visit and live in different parts of the country for weeks or months at a time.
