After full timing for about as year the DW decided we needed to be close to the grand kids. So we bought about 8 wooded (basswood, ash, maple, different pines, aspen, etc.) acres about 3 miles outside the Duluth, MN city limits. We live on one 4 acre lot with the other lot as space. We are about 100' off a private road. We have a great view off the back deck, especially when the leaves turn. We're on a ridge so we don't worry about flooding from 500 year rains.
Our motor home sits in its own garage. We still use it but only once this year because of the "lousy" weather and the kids parking their pontoon in our parking spot at their cabin. So we still plan on "camping."
