We've lived in rural areas all but 10 years of our lives .Wife and I are in our 70s. The 10 years we lived in a addition on the edge of a city was pure hell. Back to the country we went in '75 and don't ever plan on going back.
We live in the middle of 40 acres. The only problems we have now is deer and ferrel hogs which I work on weekly limiting their numbers.
Never understood why someone moving to the country for a bit of the quiet life would buy a small acreage surrounded by other small acreages and expect peace and quiet. May as well stay in town. People are noisy in a campground or a city.
Do what you want with your RV. Just remember if sitting it needs maintaining which is another problem.
We camped years ago with kids and parents/aunts and uncles/friends. Kids are gone and all other are gone to the big sky now so we very seldom stay in a noisy campground on the big COE lakes around here anymore. We use the 5th wheel for the grand kids to stay in or other visiting family members or a couple of trips a year and stay in a RV park. Right now were wanting to go back to a truck camper where we started way back in the early '60s.
With the TC we can travel and go places the 32' trailer can't go .... or even stop if we need to.
