Keeping Track of your Money

We use Quicken and I'm sure other programs like MS Money are just as good. Quicken has some nice graphs that shows how your assets and liabilities change over time. We don't use most of the functions like importing statements and budgeting so it's probably more useful than we know. :)

We used Quicken for years and then switched over to Mint because there were some issues getting the newer Quicken to run on the Mac. They've probably ironed those issues out by now, but we shifted over and are quite happy.

Quicken. The reporting functions are great. Every month we print a "budget v. actual" report and when tax time comes it's easy to find what we need. Our annual totals help us revise the budget for the upcoming year.

I, too, use an old version of Quicken.
I only use the checkbook program, and the bill listing. Those allow me to keep track of what is going on. I have no need for the other things Quicken will do. I'm sure they are very valuable for some folks, though.

Another quicken user - I've also used it for years and years. It is easy to use and has functions to boggle the mind, if you so chose. It is easy to import your online statements, categories the transactions and report to your heart's content.

I use Quicken and have used it for years and years. I also keep a spreadsheet broken down by month which shows the bills that are due. I need this because I have so many things set up on auto draft now. I keep all my investment and debt info on the spreadsheet as well. The spreadsheet also has a tab at the end where I keep all my usernames and passwords.

Just spend it all. When you 're in debt, the bank will keep very close track of what you owe. :)

I use Quicken, but I am thinking of switching to Gnucash, a free open source alternative.

Quicken is a very nice product, I think it would suit your needs.
