Kodiak brakes weight discrepancy

Kids were playing with the weight scale with some old Kodiak discs and i happen to realize actual weight on the parts are way less than what the company has outlined in their catalogs. Is that considered misleading? or false advertisement?

That is because he is "OLD" and has seen a thing or two! ;)
  • This is a case of should have read post first then ask your self do I understand what I am trying to convey?
  • Welcome to the forum. Very interesting first post.

How accurate is you scale? And, how much of a difference is there between the advertised weight and the weight shown on your scale?

As pointed out by burningman, they are old, have they ever been turned?
  • Are you talking about Kodak brake discs? If they're old ones, have they been turned down a few times?
