- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIPLEASE do not color it in the park's bathrooms. We volunteers have to clean up the mess and the park has to pay to install new shower curtains. Use your own bathroom.
- ScottGNomadI'm not a fan but my DW colored her hair for many years. Finally she figured she didn't even know what color it was anymore!
So she let it grow out and it looks great.
I think it's much more attractive to age gracefully instead of trying to look like something you aren't. - doxiemom11Explorer III dye mine in our RV. Use the bathroom when applying and rinse in the kitchen sink. It's not that messy, just wipe off any you do get around right away. I also have a dedicated towel and wear old clothes. Really, not that much of a problem.
- bigwheelsturninExplorerIs the dye black or something dark..?
Use the shower...and softscrub cleaner..soon after. - lizzieExplorerI'm a fan of short and grey myself, but we travel with a couple where the wife has lovely (dyed) locks. When the roots get grey, we all chip in to help her get them dyed. If the bathhouse has adequate sinks I help her there, if not the husbands hold the hose and we do the pan on the picnic table act. It is all good fun and we get lots of laughs. lizzie

Since I tend towards 2 and 3 colour processes I'll just let my hair stylist do it or he can recommend others who are far away from him.
That's what I thought too. Herself prefers her Crown of Silver as do I so this is something we never considered. You learn something new every day.
This thread gets my vote for one of the more original queries. - DutchmenSportExplorer

On the contrary ... you get LOTS of attention at those parks. Folks ask you all the time if you would do their hair too. Now when we groom the dog, there's usually a line forming. We turn them down. I don't want to be liable for someone elses dog. Only on one occasion did I help this couple with their dog. The couple was older than dirt, could barely walk, but still towed a 5er! They had a really messed up dog! I felt sorry for them. Dog turned out pretty good. Made a new friend that day too! - Opie431ExplorerI use the kitchen or the outdoor picnic table if the park does not have a good place to do it. The bathroom sink is a little too small. Delete the little, it is much too small.
I have a box of baby wipes to wipe up anything that needs it.
We only camp at sites with large, private lots. I am not sure I would do it outside at the sardine RV sites. - CroweExplorerI don't dye (no, really I don't!) but I do know that a lot of campgrounds I've been at prohibit the practice of dying in their bathrooms.
