laundering\cleaning dinette cushions?
hello everyone,
I have not been around here in a while. Life is in my way. Hahaha
My TT dinette cushions were shot when I got it. The foam us sort of collapsed. They were wrapped in old bed sheets, not even upholstery material.
Today I was given a set of very pretty blue ones. They have been wet (as in soaked)...they are stained. No rips or tears. The covers look like some sort of rubber or vinyl on the bottom side. They unzip from the foam cushions.
I have no clue what sort of material they are made of. Does anyone here have any laundering tips? Can they be thrown in a washing machine? Do I need to try to clean them by hand?
Any advice would be appreciated.
On a side note..I have not taken the covers off. If the foam is mildewed or whatever..I think I can find new foam locally.
Thank you,
Brian
