We are a family of four and we "full-time" from May until September (close to home during May, then we hit the road until Labor Day). We, too, carry two weeks worth of clothing and hit the laundry one day and do about 8 loads of laundry.
We do sheets, towels in two or three loads (towels are used more than once) and then each of us has at least one load, maybe two. If the campground has a laundry with more than one washer/dryer, it makes it quicker. Otherwise, it's pretty much an all-day chore.
We carry the All pods and I don't use fabric softener because one of us has an allergy to some of the dyes and fragrance in them.
We are camping, so as long as the clothes are clean, we don't worry about a wrinkle or two. After we have them on for 30 minutes, they have wrinkles in them, anyway.
Haven't tried the aluminum foil - what is it supposed to do?
