One of the aspects of downsizing meant we no longer had a washer/drier appliance in the rig. Now we depend on campground launderettes. After fussing with the laundry detergents we've finally started using those individual packettes. A little more expensive but easier to stow without spillage. We also carry 2 weeks' worth of clothing and wash it all in one day.Care to share how you cope with laundry?

We do it EXACTLY the way you do it!!!!! LOVE those little packettes! I put the quarters and the packettes in a plastic container (Glad) to haul to the laundromatte. It sure makes it even easier! I sort my clothes BEFORE we get there, so I know how many loads I'll be doing. I have had to resort to dryer sheets.....don't like them, but they're more convenient since you can't run a load of wash for just rinsing again. I have some cheap store brand/generic ones that don't work well. Last time I did the wash, I doubled them and they worked fine. No savings, but will do until I get better ones. If my clothes come out wrinkled I have some of that "dewrinkler" spray.....the only ironing I like doing is on quilt blocks. :) I LOVE getting my wash done within 2 hours. :) I've met fascinating people at the laundromats!!!!I have more clothes than I need......that's for sure. Will be removing some when we get back to our storage. :) :)

We carry a bottle of detergent. We keep it in a plastic bag then in a container. So if it spills the only mess is in the bag or container. We use same dryer sheets as we do at home bounce.We both basically have two weeks with of clothing. When we need to wash we do it all in one day.

A wadded up ball of aluminum foil works as well as dryer sheets and can be reused. I've also seen people use tennis balls.
