Lets see if I can explain what I did similar to your situation. I cut 3/4 plywood size of cabinet interior bottom and laid flat. Toward the back I put a second piece of ply vertical toward back of cabinet which I made strong with "L" shelf brackets. On the vertical ply I mounted a swivel LCD TV mount. The bottom edge of the TV is cushioned with pipe insulation foam tibeing. I then hooked a bungee across the front of TV for travel.It works great for my application as I can swivel it depending on where we are in the trailer. To tighten the posotioning knobs on the mount you need access to the back when TV is in place. It worked for me. There are many more clever than I. This is just one consideration
