I can only speak for my own family: we have 7 grown kids and 13-1/2 grandkids. ALL of our kids love to camp, and seemed to marry spouses who also enjoy the outdoors. But sometimes "life" just gets in the way
Family #1: parents are getting additional college degrees (to further their careers) and the kids are involved in weekend sports
Family #2: Kids involved in weekend sports - but they camp every chance they get with a little popup I sold them
Family #3: kids are too young to enjoy tent camping quite yet
Family #4; has a vintage TT, and camp several times per summer when the wife isn't working weekends
Family #5; just moved across the country - no camping equipment. Yet. DO spend time hiking State Parks, etc
Family #6; own a 5er; but have a mini-farm, so getting away is difficult
Daughter #7; loves to camp but works weekends
But once in a great while, the planets align, and we all get together for a campout and it looks like this:
