I don't think this younger generation have it harder but quite comfortably.
My son built his first house at 23 while doing his apprenticeship for plumbing. He was making only $24 hour at the time. Now, less than 10 years later he has 3 children, a three quarter million dollar house, snow mobiles, 4 wheelers, 5th wheel, new truck and new cross over for his wife and all the tools. He owes less than 20K. My daughter, one year older, owns a farm, almost 2 million and has all the toys cammping TT also. She owes less than 80K. They had no help from parents
Most of their friends are in the same boat. They all own RV's
I definitely think the kids 35 and younger are doing just fine. I can only speak for the group of them I know personally .
