Unfortunately the current young generation is truly a "me" generation. Anything that takes any planning, saving, or forethought is way beyond their apprehension. If they go and get instant gratification without any planning, forethought, or saving, you'd probably find more younger people camping. Fact it, it does take "work" to go camping, and the younger generation has really never learned how to "work" for anything! They'd rather go to Six Flags for a day of instant gratification than plan a year or two to purchase a camper they can use for several years in the future! (Then spend their disposable money on mindless computer and video games!)
