We're usually so busy having fun when we get away in the MH for a few weeks each summer we don't pay much attention to those around us, their age or what kind of rv they have. My folks both worked all their lives; just when I graduated from college my Dad died from a heart attack standing in his kitchen and he was ONLY 57. He took ONE vacation that I actually remember and went fishing with a buddy from work for a few days. I think they took a tent. My Mom passed a few years ago and worked into her 60's until I talked her into retiring and moving back to our hometown where she owned a house. She and Dad never got to take a vacation together never mind thinking about something as exclusive as "going rving." I took Mom with us every trip we made until she became too ill to travel any longer. She loved travelling in our MH because she was with her family. If I were to say one thing that has affected rving these days is the must have too much too soon attitude of younger people when it comes to spending. And they are too ready to spend way beyond their means.
