If so, it's a parasitic worm (Gordius aquaticus), though NOT of the kind that infects/uses people. Usually. I think.

They are more transparent and thinner. I guess spaghetti is a little thick. Maybe more the thickness of a sewing needle very thin and clear. The pic you show looks like a tape worm gross!!!!
