Here in Mexico the economy is booming. Students graduating from private and public universities many with Master's. We hear the same thing. There are no jobs. I ask them why and I get the same answer.
"I have applied for many management jobs but no offers". Well of course not, you need to start at the bottom, get some experience and work your way up. They don't want to do that. Way too easy these days.
I worked and went to school, when I came to Mexico I worked and went back to school. I worked three jobs, day classes, night classes and trained teachers on Saturdays. I did what I had to do to make ends meet. We're not rich, we have a small TT but enjoy the heck out of the great outdoors. No house payment since 1996, that was our first priority.
No designer stuff, no Iphones, all that just clutters your life with payments. Once someone learns to live within their means they begin to truly enjoy life and eliminate the worry that comes with money.
Just rambling.
