I witnessed this recently at a pizza restaurant that features musical entertainment. A lot folks go there for birthday celebrations and such. There was a group of about 8 or 10 family and friends on the other side of the restaurant. Something that jumped out to me is that even with that large a group, they weren't talking with each other. Instead, each person was tinkering away on their hand held device. Kind of sad.
