Well so far real damage seems to be only to the Kitchen sink peninsula counter top and back side frame for the plywood panels. The panels seem fine, but the sawdust frame work boards are shot. Looks like DW will get a small kitchen remodel!
I will replace the frame work with real wood likely some nice oak. Counter top underlayment I will use 3/4" plywood and DW will get the flip up counter extension on the side of the sink. One other thing DW had asked for and will be included will be some type of glass or plexiglass back-splash to block the dogs access to the counter.
I am looking at better insulating the pump mounting so it will run quieter, I do like using the pump as in many locations we have better water pressure with the pump.
