Let it snow, let it snow!

O boy snow! This whimps is ready to head to AZ and enjoy some retirement.

Bunch of wimps! First flake and you are all heading south! Geeesh!

At the first hint of cold, I go where it's not. However, I'm well aware of the fact that there's thousands of people who prefer colder weather, AND snow.
Something for everyone, I always say.

During the book "The Long Winter" as written by Laura Ingalls Wilder, they got a blissard in DeSmet SD in September, and that was the start of many feet of snow.

The Indians came into town to warn the settlers that every 7th year was colder than the others. This was to be the 49th year, and especially cold one. . . Even the Beavers knew to build a really sturdy and thick home that winter.
