Just trying to refine what I carry all the time and just wondering how many leveling blocks I really need to carry for a tandem axle TT. What is the most you have had to correct for in a CG? I have enough to raise on side 3 1/2 inches. I am using the yellow stacking blocks, 20 of them, Christmas gift. Was using the 2x6 wood system. Chalks are next.

2 boxes would be great. You also can use them under the stabilizers, and tongue jack.

I carry 30 and I have used 30. They are especially handy when you need to ramp up one tire to replace a blowout on the side of the highway. Better to have too many than not enough.Bruce

I have two packs of 10 each and I always figured if I have to raise the TT more than two high then It's time to move or at least move it side to side to bring it closer to level. I just don't like the idea of having my TT higher than 2 high for safety reasons. I was always afraid of it rolling off the blocks, even chocks didn't seem too secure to me. I was unhooking in a rain storm once and the TT rolled forward and almost got my sons' foot had a bear of a time getting the tongue back up but I did and I have always been a little nervous of that ever since. live and learn I guess.

Don't like the yellow blocks; not wide enough to support the entire tire footprint AND they are really tough to back onto. We carry enough wood to raise one side about 3 - 4 inches.

We use the Lynx, and they are plenty wide, are the Orange ones more narrow?Great thing about the Lynx. The Lynx chock hooks in to the leveler, and keeps you from backing, or pulling off of it. They also stager stack, to form a ramp for ease of rolling up on.

Like an old surfer that I am, longboards here. 2 2X10X5' plus 2 from a third one cut. Good till they get split then I have some extra firewood & off to Lowes looking for more dirt cheap warped lumber.

Saw a TT slip off those Lego things once. Shoulda heard the woman inside when that happened. No thanks.

Only carry two 2 x 10s about 5 feet long. I also have a couple of 2 x 8s, shorter, about 18" - 24" and some odd sized pieces of wood. This has always worked for us.

We carry 2 bags of 8 of the yellow Legos. Never built anything higher than 3-high. More than that, I'd reposition the trailer.

We also carry (and have used) this for tire changes

i don't use blocks i dig a hole and drop the high side tire into it but then again i don't go camping in a camp ground either we only boondock

I am getting too spoiled. Too much of my new TT is power with a remote. Awning, jacks, lights, slide-out, and fireplace. If it stops working I'll never be able to fix it.

Depend on where your going to set up camp. I carry a shovel for digging one side down and lots of wood blocks/ramps for ramping up the other side.

Another one size don't fit all answer here.

When we had tge Teteon, three axles, we had three pkgs of lynx and used them all occasionally. Now we carry 2 bags

No matter how many you have, there will be a time you don't have enough. I carry 4 packs of the Lynx Levelers. I think there are 10 levelers in a pack, so that makes 40 levelers. And, yes, I have used all of them at one time, but, we prefer camping in less cultivated locations.
