Yes, I do believe the Andersen's are lighter, but they are not designed for heavier trailers. I think the max tongue weight is something like 600 or 700 pounds (can't remember right off), but not good for a heavier trailer. (something to think about).
The Andersen hitches are rated to 1400 lb tongue weight. From the web site:
