We had a lightning strike somewhere close to our house at 6:00am one morning. All of the lights on our alarm system were fully lit and it had called the fire dept. They checked and we were OK for fire. We lost a TV, all of the phones on one line and the other line got fused with another lady someplace. She got very upset when I answered her calls. It was my businessline and she would not tellme what her number was, just that ( should get off her line. Got that one squared away fine.
A couple years later on Sun. morning, I was talkiing with our Pastor before the service when lightning hit the big tree outside the Church. We had a new organ 3 years before and got to spend almost the same for repair. It was pipe & electronic combination and the pipes were the ones that didn't work. Chime system also got blown up. That was on Pentecost. We had fire that day.
