Most are exactly the same. I suggested Mor-Ryde over others, because the bores in the shackles are better. Other brands may be OK, I just haven't had the opportunity to measure them. You see, the splined portion of the bolts need to cut into the shackle bores so that they will never move. The cheap original shackles have punched holes that are tapered. That taper allows movement and the wear keeps getting greater till there is a complete failure. When installing the bolts, never allow the bolt to turn as it is tightened, or the splines will not hold.
Is it best to have the lube hole in the bolts facing up or down? Also why does everyone seem to have the zirk fitting facing inside rather than outside where you can lube without getting under the trailer?
