The grease holes often wear in and seal off on the bolt making it impossible to force grease in without jacking by the frame. The holes should be towards the area where the greatest load is on the bushing, but that makes greasing even harder. To remedy this, carve a figure 8 inside the bushing before installing. You can use something like a Dremel tool, just don't go very deep as to weaken the already too thin bushing.
I fabbed up a manifold so I could remote grease all the fittings, but never got around to mounting it and running the lines. Maybe I'll do that this summer. Beats the heck out of being a contortionist when it comes time to grease the fittings.
Lynnmor, on the Dexter kit I just purchased they show installing the bolts so the grease holes are on the sides of the bolts or horizontal so that should have prevented the issue your having getting the bolts to take grease.
