I like how one could be so dismissive of a product without any detailed information on how it works.

The press release is light on details, and neither of the two released photos even show how the system connects to the tow vehicle. This is just a mystery product until we know more about it. No judgement here.

We were meant to stay with chains, forever.

How would you get the system to the same tension each time you hook up? Seems like you would have to count turns on your ratchet.

With a chain one motion and you're done. With this strap system you're cranking and cranking on the ratchet.

I think I'll stick with my chain.

The name says it all. Putting Lippert and Tek in the same statement is a certain recipe for an idea that won't work very well or for very long.
