Little something to remember..

Among the dozens of things you are thinking about and trying to do when setting up I forgot to crack open the water spigot on site before attaching the hose...Upon teardown today I disconnected and found the remains of 3-4 earwigs stuck into the filter screen on my pressure reg... Two thoughts came to mind, 1. EWWWWW.. 2. I sure am glad I use a filter.. Just a thought for the day :B

Happy Camping.

I always use my Watts regulator. Doesn't cost any extra!
  • We arrive at camp site and spray the water spout with bleach solution, do a site survey as far as where we want everything, best leveling spot, check for slide out room, and height obstructions, and then back into the site. Prior to hooking up water, we let it run for 15 seconds. This process seems to work well for us. Happy camping.

  • We didn't learn, for a while, to be cautious with water and electric and sewer.
Always turn it on first, off spray it down with bleach or wipe it with bleach, we carry for fresh water tank.
  • We never, ever drink campground water. Showering and flushing the toilet is about all it's good for.
  • I am glad you posted this.
I'll be sure to do it from now on.

    Thanks

  • Look at the bright side, I believe Earwigs are high in protein. :)
