We went from a 41'motorhome to a 34' motorhome a few years ago. We found a lot of things we didn't need!!! And after 4 years, I really haven't missed them.

Something similar at the S&B, remodeled after 38 years in the same house. In 8 hours we move almost everything out of the house. Four years later, we have an almost minamalist home and very little room in the garage.
9esterday I needed an apron because the DW made spaghetti and splatter paint sauce. Found about 12 dish clothes and six flour sack "t" towels along with a dozen kitchen hand towels. They have been sitting there for years, unmolested and growing a stale smell.
In business school, we talked about the Vacuum of Power Theory. In RVing, it is the Power of an Empty Drawer Theory. If it is empty, she who must be obeyed, must fill it.
In the late 59's, early 60's, I had an 18" x 18" x 24" inch space and a 3" x 32" x 72" space to hold every personal item, including clothes for a 100 day patrol. Motor Homes arespacious next to a diesel electric submarine. Now I have almost twice that space for 12 or 14 weeks and many campgrounds have laundrys. Whooie!
