Correct. For that matter, is a dealer that you did buy from legally required to accept your trailer for repairs? (I honestly don't know the answer to this.)
Regardless, a GOOD dealer will use the service visit as an opportunity to win you over for future business, including future repairs, even if the money from the repairs is break-even for them. This is just good business. Why? While there waiting for your trailer to be brought around, finished up, or for the paperwork to be completed you're very likely to peruse the new stock...
A dealer refuses you? That's not one you want. Find another. I've never been turned away for service from any RV dealer.
